Regiments & Watches
Black Watch - the Black Watch was created after the 1715 Jacobite rebellion to prevent fighting between the clans, deter raiding and enforce the laws against carrying weapons. It was made up of loyalist Highlanders from the Clans Cameron, Grant, Fraser and Munro.
Camerons - Claire mentions she saw a lot of Camerons in the field hospital at Amiens (Outlander, chapter 1)
Campbell regiment - the Reverend Archibald Campbell fought in a Campbell regiment on the government side during the Rising, before he became a minister (V, chapter 29)
Fraser regiment - the men from Lallybroch who fought during the Jacobite Rising under the command of Jamie
Glen Elrive Watch - the Watch which took Jamie from Lallybroch after Ronald McNab ratted on him (Outlander, chapter 33)
Gordons - Claire mentions she saw a lot of Gordons in the field hospital at Amiens (Outlander, chapter 1)
Macintosh regiment - Two surgeons from the Macintosh regiment dealt with casualties with broken bones after the Battle of Prestonpans (DIA, chapter 36)
Master of Lovat's regiment - the regiment under the command of Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat. When Roger is searching the records for the men from Lallybroch he finds them all listed as part of the Master of Lovat's regiment (DIA, chapter 2)
Seaforths - Claire mentions she saw a lot of Seaforths in the field hospital at Amiens (Outlander, chapter 1)
Shimi Bogil Watch - the name of the Black Watch group that called into the inn where Jamie & Claire stayed when they were married (Outlander only, chapter 16)
