Earthworms - Claire finds jars of Oil of Earthworms in Davie Beaton's surgery at Castle Leoch (Outlander, chapter 7)
Jellyfish - while onboard the Artemis, Jamie and Claire see tiny jellyfish living in enormous islands of floating seaweed (V, chapter 42)
Leeches - leeches are a type of worm and are used regularly throughout the books for the medical relief of internal bleeding. Claire first encounters these when Mrs FitzGibbons uses them on Jamie's eye after Angus beats him (Outlander, chapter 6)
Millipedes - Claire finds jars of millipedes in wine in Davie Beaton's surgery at Castle Leoch (Outlander, chapter 7)
Sand fleas - Claire notices the sand fleas disappearing as if by magic when the hurricane approaches while she is in the mangroves on Hispaniola (V, chapter 50) Sand fleas are also called sandhoppers
Sheep worms - Lawrence Stern helps Father Fogden cure his sheep of worms (V, chapter 50) There are a number of parasitic worms that live in sheep. These were possibly round worms
