Barley - grown at Lallybroch (DIA, chapter 30)
Marrow grass - Jamie picks a sheaf of marrow grass for a pillow the night before the Battle of Prestonpans (DIA, chapter 36) There is marrow grass growing on the cliff tops at Arbroath (V, chapter 30) I think marrow grass is another name for marram grass which is a type of grass found growing on sand dunes on the coast. Prestonpans is on the coast of the Firth of Forth and Arbroath lies on the North Sea coast
Marsh grass - growing on the shores of Watendlath Tarn in the Lake District (V, chapter 14)
Oat Grass - Claire smells the scent of oat grass on Jamie at Lallybroch (Outlander, chapter 32)
Reeds - growing on the shores of a loch in the Highlands (Outlander, chapter 25)
